Belmont is a genuine champion. He has competed at the advanced level for the last two years with Kate Ditchey. Boyd has just recently taken over the job of training and competing him.
He is superb on the flat. A beautiful mover, with soft and swinging paces. In his last outing at the CIC *** at Plantation Fields he placed 2nd after the dressage with a score of 49.
Belmont is a fantastic jumping machine. Point and shoot. It is as simple as that. He has great technique with a heap of scope. A great galloper with speed and adjustability.
