Essor is a young horse with amazing scope over the jumps and a big ground covering canter. He was started as a 2 year old and has had lots of natural horsemanship ground work. He loves to go to the horse shows, having initially been started in the hunter ring for his beautiful form. He's now proving to be a talented eventer and thrives on the competition environment.
He is very bold and honest to the jumps. Since he's young, he requires a tactful, sensitive rider who can ride big gaits and has patience. He has a good show record and has shown rated USDF and events. He scores consistently in the mid sixties to low 70s at USDF shows (Training level) and in the low thirties to high 20s at events. He has won two events on a 27.4, and 29.5, as well as being 2nd on a 30.5.
