Fair Hill Friday Update: Young Event Horses and CCI3* Dressage

Christine Turner's Tsetserleg is 12th after dressage in the CCI3* at the Fair Hill International on a score of 46.1. He and Boyd go cross country tomorrow at 2:07pm. In the Championship for Five-Year-Old Horses, Mike Pendleton rode Carlsburg, owned in partnership with Stephen Blauner, to 27th place overall. Young Event Horses at Fair Hill

Mike Pendleton is riding a couple of the Young Event Horses in the Championship at Fair Hill. Copper Classic, owned by Brandye Randerman, is currently in sixth place in the Championship for Four-Year-Old Horses. Carlsburg, whom I own in partnership with Stephen Blauner, is 32nd after dressage and conformation in the Championship for Five-Year-Old Horses. Dressage Horses Have Arrived at USDF Region 1 Championships

We arrived in Williamston, NC for the USDF Region 1 Championships. Harley and I brought four horses: Harley is riding Joan White's Jax W in the Third level Championships and I am riding Jada W and Joan White and Sara Reese's Hannah Lu W in the Third level Championships . I am also riding Julia and George Starwbridge and Nancy Hathaway's Electric in the First level Championships. Godspeed, Larry T. Smith

Our hearts are with Melinda Walton today as her husband Larry T. Smith has passed away  after an illness. Melinda and Larry are longtime owners and friends and his loss is felt deeply here at Windurra.

Reflections on Dressage at Devon 2017!

This past weekend at Dressage at Devon was a wonderful emotional boost for Silva and her team.  The dressage contingent from Windurra USA was out in full force with the young horses, and the horizon is bright for this stable full of talent! 2017 Stable View Oktoberfest Recap

  Once again Stable View Aiken put on an outstanding event this year. After crashing at Plantation a couple of weeks ago, I decided to run all of my higher level horses here. This made for a busy weekend. Even though it was a mission to get there, I am glad we did. The event organizers go beyond the call of duty to try to have the best footing as possible.
