I was really happy with both of my young horses, Electric and Jada W, who won at the Palm Beach Derby CDI on both days, which was really exciting. They both had good scores and I was very happy with the comments from the judges. Both horses need to get a little stronger in places, which is normal especially so early in the year. They didn’t make any mistakes and I was very happy with them. It was exciting to have Julia Strawbridge come out and cheer on Electric! It was also thrilling for me to be back in the CDI ring and on such nice horses, I had a really good time.

Helle Goodrich rode her young Danish gelding in the Materiale class for the first time. He’s a stunning big black horse and he did great, he handled the atmosphere well and they won their class.
Helle also rode Fuerst Rubin on Friday, and she did well; she won the Amateur division in 3rd level and now we’re working on more upper level movements. She’s looking fantastic, she’s never showed at this level and she’s really handling it well.
Harley Whittaker rode Joan White’s gelding Jax W in the 6-year-old qualifier and won both classes. This home bred young horse has come a long way and has an exciting future, and Harley did a great job with him.
Nox is really enjoying himself; Gloria Callen is helping a lot with him, and everyone at the barn is helping a lot! I couldn’t do it without them!
