Minotaure Du Passoir, otherwise known around the barn as Min, is a stunning gelding that was born in the prestigious breeding farm Ille-Et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France. He was imported to the United States by Beatrice Rey-Herme in 2005. He’s by the French stallion Experio, who is one of France’s leading Selle Francais jumping stallions.

Mrs. Amy Lidgren spotted Min and instantaneously recognized his talent, and more importantly his gorgeous looks. Amy Lidgren is no stranger to owning top class event horses. Amy owned “Jumpshot” who was not only placed at Rolex Kentucky in 1979, but was also the alternate for the U.S. team in the 1980 Olympics.

Min had a fantastic 2007 at the Training level, ridden to start with by Australian rider Ryan Wood, then by Boyd Martin. He continued through the year of 2007 competing up to Preliminary. His biggest win of the year was undoubtedly the Preliminary at Millbrook. He beat a top class field including horses such as Windfall II.

2008 started out a successful year at the Preliminary level. Min then successfully debut his Intermediate eventing career in April 2008 at Plantation Field Horse Trials.

Min’s ultimate goal is to compete at the highest level within his comfort and ability. Being only a young horse, he has a big future ahead of him. Without a doubt he is the best looking horse in Pennsylvania.
