OTTB’s are all the rage these days, and Blackfoot Mystery’s success at Rolex Kentucky, finishing 6th overall and claiming the Jockey Club’s Thoroughbred Incentive Program (T.I.P.) Award, did not go unnoticed.

Four off-the-track Thoroughbreds (OTTBs) finished in the top 20 at the 2016 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event behind “Big Red”: Simply Priceless (8th), Sound Prospect (16th), Donner (17th), and Anthony Patch (19th), and don’t forget that Steady Eddie, who finished 42nd in his first attempt at a 4*, is also an OTTB.
