Dressage Results at WEG: My Little Trakehner Went in There and Roared Around!

It’s been quite the start to the WEG eventing competition, with Thomas strutting his stuff right up there with the best in the world.  Yesterday he wowed us all, finishing the day in second place on a score of 27.10, right behind the German might of Chipmunk FRH who laid down an unbeatable 19.90 on the world stage!

Thomas held his own today with the second half of the competitors coming down center line.  Thomas, who now stands in 8th, is ready for tomorrow’s cross country.  Both Thomas and Boyd are super fit and up to the challenge, and thankfully #BigFlo is going to hold off for most of the day!  The XC course is impressive, due to the brilliant efforts of both Eric Bull’s team (ETB Construction) and Captain Mark Phillips.   Make no mistake – this is not a simple watered down course (no pun intended), with many technical questions and a serious test of fitness on the final long climb home.

Best of luck to tomorrow to all the competitors, may #BigFlo slow her approach and every horse and rider come home safe and sound!

Many thanks to Heels Down Media for the post dressage interview.
