Basil is an eye-catching young prospect with lots of chrome and was a Gold Premium Filly at her RPSI inspection receiving a total score of 8.2. Basil has an unlimited amount of potential in multiple disciplines. She has a super hind leg that will never be “out behind” or “not active enough”, great reach in her shoulder and a very natural uphill balance. In her two outings at schooling shows she has scored an “8” on her gaits!  Her first recognized event at Beginner Novice she finished 2nd on her dressage score of 28.3.

Sire Eclipsed by Color (Color Guard) is a stunning 12 year old Warmblood stallion approved for the following registries; American Hanoverian Society, CSHA, CWB, GOV, RPSI, and sBs. He was the overall Reserve Champion at his 2010 70 Day Stallion Test at Silver Creek Farm in Oklahoma, winning the jumping portion of the test. His test riders scored him with a 9.75 in his jumping. At the end of the testing he received scores of; Dressage 105.09, Jumping 127.00 (earning him the title of Jumping Champion), and an Overall Score of 118.65 resulting in the award of Reserve Champion. His sire, Escudo I was the 2009 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year. He was also the winner of his stallion performance test in 1994 achieving a convincing score of 144.90 points in the jumping category. He is a son of the Celle State stallion Espri, who is known worldwide for producing outstanding quality offspring.

Dam sire Quintender is sired by Quinar, a successful International Show Jumper. Quinar was a son of the great Quidam de Revel who will be remembered not only as a World Class Nations Cup and Olympic jumper, but as a prolific elite sire as well. Representing France, Herve Godignon and Quidam de Revel secured a team bronze at teh 1992 Barcelona Olympic /games and were fourth individually. Great dam sire Faberge (also known as Federalist) in an International jumper in his own right and is sired by For Pleasure who is a two-time Olympic Gold medal winner, World Champion and Hanoverian Stallion of the Year in 2000. He was a member of the gold medal-winning German show jumping team at the Atlanta Olympics and was named German horse of the year in 1995. He is one of the most sought after sires in Germany and one of the most successful currently competing breeding stallions.
