Henrie is a striking Oldenburg/Thoroughbred cross with tons of talent and incredible breeding. Henrie has super paces, a scopey jump and is very athletic, ride-able and trainable. With her proven breeding and talent she is ready to excel in any discipline. She has only been in training with Boyd Martin for one month and is already showing incredible promise.
Henrie is 73% Thoroughbred and extremely well bred for performance and jumping; her sire, Contango, excelled as a grand prix dressage horse, and her grand-sire, Contender, has produced many upper level eventers. Her dam, North Run, was an A-Circuit show hunter who descends from Lord Gaylord, whose offspring have produced some of the best show jumpers in the country. She is the half-sister to SBF Cortez, an advanced event horse competed by Boyd.
