Jersey Fresh International 2019

It was a gorgeous spring day at the Horse Park of New Jersey, and Boyd was busy riding four horses in stadium jumping and three around cross country at the Jersey Fresh International Three-Day Event. There were a few ups and downs this weekend: one of the highlights was the relatively new horse, Luke 104 narrowly finishing second in the CCI3*-S after adding a couple seconds of time on cross country. Ray Price finished 5th in the CCI4*-S, while Barry was having a good round but ended up with a Technical Elimination after Boyd forgot a fence on cross country. Contestor is the only Windurra horse still competing this weekend, with stadium jumping for the CCI4*-L taking place tomorrow morning.

Silva, Nox and Leo came to Jersey to cheer Boyd and the horses on and enjoyed the tailgating at the Jersey Shore water jump – Nox kept the patrons as entertained as the horses did! Stay tuned for more news tomorrow, and be sure to watch Boyd’s summary of the day below. Also scroll down for photos and links to media coverage of the event.
