The local International event at Plantation Field is off to a great start, with Long Island T in the lead in the CIC2*-A division and Contessa tied for second in the CIC2*-B. With Plantation coming hot on the heels of the World Equestrian Games, Boyd is riding six horses total, and Mike has a couple entered as well. Under Silva’s expert dressage guidance, Mike and the crew back at Windurra kept Boyd’s horses in work while he was prepping for and competing at the WEG, and they are all fit and in good form.
EDIT: Tomorrow will see the one and two-star horses heading out cross country. Boyd will be first in the show jumping ring with Long Island T at 8:30 am and first on cross country with Wabanaki at 9:30am.
