Millbrook Horse Trials

Photo of Long Island T by Jessica Duffy for the USEA

We had record rainfall here at Millbrook Horse Trials this afternoon, and things are looking pretty wet and muddy. It’s a very pretty cross country course and Mike and I are looking forward to giving the horses a run around tomorrow as long as the footing holds up – hopefully the rain is finished for the night. In all likelihood we will run them all but take things slowly.

It was a successful couple of days of dressage to get the event started, with Long Island T holding on to the lead in the Advanced division – a big, competitive division with 47 horses entered. Mike and Carlsburg also lead the Preliminary Rider division.
