Otis Barbotiere Finds New Rider

I’m proud to announce that my 2012 Olympic Partner, Otis Barbotiere, has returned back to the sport that he was originally bred for back in France. Earlier this year I placed Otis as a jumper with Lauren Hough in Palm Beach, FL where she competed him in a few jumping classes. In his travels a Young Rider from Kentucky called Ali Boone fell in love with Otis and is now taking over the ride. From Palm Beach he hung out at the family farm in KY and is now en route to compete at Spruce Meadows in Calgary.

I’m so happy for Otis and Ali as they seem to be the perfect pair. It’s brilliant to see Otis continuing his competitive career as he is definitely a horse that loves to be out and about in the limelight. On top of that he’s partnered up with a really good rider who will gain excellent mileage and benefit from his experience.

We’d very much like to thank Lauren Hough for redirecting his career. Without Lauren’s expertise we definitely would not have been able to place Otis in this ideal situation.

Lastly I would very much like to thank the ten shareholders in the Otis syndicate who have supported him since his purchase in 2011.
