Our First Show of 2017 in Wellington, FL

Helle and Fürst Rubin

This past week we arrived and settled in to our winter quarters in Wellington, Florida! A huge thank you to Julia and George Strawbridge for letting us stay at their beautiful farm, and another  big thank you from Nox for letting him ride their adorable pony Emma!
We had our first show day at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival yesterday, and it was an encouraging start to the season. My student and good friend Helle Goodrich rocked it with her talented horse Fürst Rubin in the third level class, winning with 70% and also being awarded the Amateur Achievement Award. I’m so proud of them!
Julia and George Strawbridge and Nancy Hathaway’s horse Electric was a superstar in the FEI class for five-year-old horses, winning with 79%.
My fabulous sales horse, Electric Girl, performed beautifully to win her training level class with 75%. She is the perfect horse for an Amateur; she’s an uncomplicated ride and lots of fun.
Jada W and Jax W, (ridden by Harley Whittaker and owned by Joan Fenton), finished tight in the FEI class for six-year-old horses today, both with 76%. I’m pretty proud of these two Windurra home breds!
We will post videos at the end of the show.
