Second Place Finish at Central Park Arena Eventing

Boyd teamed up with Holly Payne Caravella to bring eventing to the Big Apple. It was a hard-fought competition and they brought home a second place finish in the inaugural $50,000 Arena Eventing competition presented by The Fite Group at the Central Park Horse Show in New York City. Boyd rode Christine Turner’s Kyra and Holly was paired with her top four-star horse, Never Outfoxed. They both scorched around the course, and with a little luck secured a top placing in the competition designed to showcase the sport of eventing. A number of top riders took part in the competition and it was a fun evening as well as an opportunity for a few of Boyd’s horse owners to enjoy seeing him ride in their hometown. Boyd also competed at Surefire Farm Horse Trials in Virginia this morning, then hopped a train to NYC. He’s heading back to Pennsylvania now, oversized check in hand.
