With five horses for Boyd to ride today things were busy for the Windurra crew at the American Eventing Championships. The three Intermediate horses, Ray Price, Tsetserleg and Santos, did dressage early in the day, and the two Preliminary horses, Barry and Contessa, ran cross-country. Thanks to a storm with heavy rains, thunder and lightning, horses were sent back to the barns and the start of the prelim cross country was delayed by about an hour. Fortunately everything carried and it was a good day of sport, with Barry leading the Prelim after cross country. Tomorrow the Advanced horses, Welcome Shadow and Crackerjack, will do dressage, the Intermediate horses run cross-country [COURSE WALK] and the Preliminary horses show jump. It’s going to be an action-packed day!
