Top Placings for Windurra at 2020 Stable View Oktoberfest Horse Trials

It was a winning weekend for Windurra at the Stable View Oktoberfest CCI3*-S. Boyd and Fernhill Prezley, owned by Nancy Hathaway, added only 1.2 time faults to their dressage score to win the division with 30.6. Penhill Celtic, owned by Arnell Sport Horses, is a newer ride for Boyd so he took it a little slow, added 6 time faults and finished 4th overall with 35.60.

A message from Boyd:

This past weekend we were eventing at Stable View Oktoberfest Horse Trials in Aiken, South Carolina. This has turned into one of the best events of the year. The facility is world class. The dressage and jumping rings, with footing by Attwood Equestrian Surfaces, are as good as any I have ever ridden in. The Mark Phillips designed cross country course built by Eric Bull was awesome. The turf was superb, and the course was much more flowing than past years. It was an all round A+ event!
I am still on the mending process from a muscle surgery I had a couple of months ago, so I only took two horses: Nancy Hathaway’s Fernhill Preszley and Lauren Burnell’s Penhill Celtic. Both are imported Irish Sport Horses (with French sires). Ironically, both horses are related to the mighty Trading Aces on the dam side.
Prezley has been superbly produced by Heidi White, whilst Donald has come to me via my year 10-Prom partner Bec Braitling in California. Both horses are absolutely class, and both Heidi and Bec have done a top job with them. We had a good result with both horses in all three phases. It was an excellent run for them as we prepare for the CCI3*-L in a few weeks in Lexington, Kentucky.
On a side note, I will respectfully ask not to be part of any report. I will also request EN not to post pictures or videos of me and the horses that I have in training on their website at this time.
Many Thanks,
