Windurra Eventers Heading to The Fork at Tryon 2019

We are on our way to The Fork Horse Trials at TIEC in Tryon, North Carolina. I am looking forward to experiencing the warmer weather again. Obviously, this is a magnificent facility that was the venue for last year’s World Equestrian Games, and the facilities and courses (built by ETB Equine Construction) are top-notch. I have heard that the course will be similar to the WEG course last year: it will be technical but not overly big, and it should be a good track.
I have decided on just taking a small number of horses to this event so I can really focus on giving them each a stellar performance.  My plan for the horses:
On Cue: she will be on the greener side of things on cross country day. My plan is to give her a smooth round and not run her off her feet. This is her first time at this level and I plan to get her around safely.
Tsetserleg:  This is Thomas’ last run before Kentucky.  I’ll give him a quicker run if the ground is good. If that freakin’ boat is in the water jump, you will hear me clucking!  He should be right in there with the leaders.
Contestor: Like Cue, he will need a good confident ride around cross country. I will spend a bit of extra time setting him up, especially at the airy fences, and also aim to get home safely.
Long Island T: This is Ludwig’s last run before Kentucky. I will try to let him run on without being reckless, and will work on his rideability and control towards the end of the track. This guy should finish in the top three.
